Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by! I don't intend to give away all of my secret treasures about myself, but I am more than happy to introduce a little bit about who I am :)
Yes, that is indeed ME. I am a 24 year old graduate & alumni from Texas State University (Eat 'em up Cats!) in San Marcos, TX. Speaking of TEXAS, I was born and raised there. So, I do in fact take pride in that very important fact, thank you very much. I jumped on the bandwagon years ago and bought a nice pair of cowboy boots just to add the icing to the cake of my birthplace :)
I played soccer for 12 years while I was growing up and decided to retire after high school where I just played for fun on the rare occasion. I love to read books, drink coffee, listen to music, eat delicious food and I am quite the morning person and the worst night owl ever. I literally go to bed at grandma's bed time, I kid you not-- oh, its 9 o'clock time to hit the hay. What can I say, I worship my sleep.
I commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant into the United States Air Force in May 2012 and am proud to be serving my country day-in and day-out. My job is very important, but not worth the discussion on the world wide web. Serving my country is a very humbling experience and definitely not one to take for granted. I am thankful for all the support from family and friends along the way. I look forward to the many adventures the Air Force has in store for me down the road.
Oh, and I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. Favorite book series: Harry Potter. Favorite movie series: Harry Potter. Favorite go-to: Anything Harry Potter related. You get the picture? I am not embarrassed by my slight obsession with this fiction-related world. In fact, most of my close friends feel the same way, but maybe on a smaller scale.
